Was a budget small internal room with corridor window. Bathroom n bedroom was exceptionally clean. Very comfortable bed. Lovely large soft towels. The bathroom items where replenished with clean towels etc. on second morning by housekeeping [two night stay] plus a refill of tea coffee n more biscuits. Room had brilliant air conditioning n telephone for contacting reception. Shower n bath had good water pressure

The room was large and well-appointed with King Size bed, a sofa, and easy chair. The bathroom was clean, and all the facilities were working. Breakfast was cooked to order, substantial and tasty. If you came to see the race horses this is a perfect location with the gallops only a few minutes walk. The main street in Newmarket is a 5-minute walk away. I visited the National Race Horse Museum which is well worth a morning's visit. Wifi is provided and has sufficient bandwidth to support business or watching a movie on line.

I only stayed 1 night for a work do. The people were friendly and helpful. I had a single room with a single bed which was exactly what I booked, the room was spacious with plenty of tea and coffee and clean all over. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had a really good shower. Breakfast was nice if a little pricey. When I returned in the evening there was music coming from the bar but I never heard it in my room.

We brought our dog, he’s a huge Akita, and honestly he was welcomed by all members of staff enthusiastically. Other guests loved him too. It’s the first time we have taken him and I couldn’t thank everyone enough for being so accommodating and caring. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and every time has been great. The staff are lovely and so friendly. The location is perfect, especially for early morning viewing of the horses going up the gallops. Also a nice short walk into town which is great.

We were really pleased with our economy room for our overnight stop. Didn't miss having an outside window as we arrived in the dark anyway and our window was opposite an outside window across the corridor. The corridor we looked out on only served a handful of rooms so felt very private. The bed was really comfy and slept like a log. Good bathroom with toiletries supplied. And we had biscuits! Staff exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough. Breakfast delicious and hot from the self service counter. Definitely likely to stop again on our many travels to Norfolk, lovely place and great value for money.

The room was OK for our two-night stay but any longer we would have struggled for space to keep our clothes with little or no drawer space! The staff were all very friendly, especially those on the front desk, they made me aware that overnight two of my tyres had slow punctures and were hands-on to help and advise of local garage to get them checked, brilliant sevice.

I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a budget room and was surprised by how nice the room was. A great modern bathroom, excellent shower and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, I had a good sleep. The staff were helpful and polite, nice lady receptionist. Good location close to the town centre. A very good price for my stay.

I have stayed at this hotel before, and hence I obviously find it satisfactory. As someone travelling alone, I chose a single room, which has a good sized single bed. The bedrooms are comfortable, and well equipped. Lighting is good, especially welcome if you wish to read or do some work. The location is convenient for Newmarket if you need to stay in that vicinity, but not in any way spectacular. Free parking is available. The rooms have en-suites with bathtubs and showers over. If you prefer a bathtub, this is welcome. The tea offered on the tea/coffee tray in the room is very good, and it is a pity that they do not offer equally good coffee! The reception staff are friendly and helpful.

Room was clean. I was on the top floor and it was very quiet. Heating controls worked and it was nice to be able to open a window. Comfortable single room. Hotel location great if you're there for the horse sales which I was. Nice restaurants in walking distance and hotel car park is a decent size.
